What documents do I have to take at the time of boarding after booking my flight tickets from Khalti?

You need to take a copy of the ticket (a print out of the ticket or the print out of the ticket-email) and identity proof (Passport or Citizenship) at the time of boarding.

What if I don’t provide name, phone number, email id and other details properly while booking flight?

If you fail to provide proper details then your ticket will still be booked but you might not be notified in cases of flight delays and cancellations.

How will I know if my booking has been confirmed?

Your booking confirmation will be sent via notification and a ticket layout, where you can download your invoice and tickets. You can also check it from transaction history. To enter the cinema, you need to download the tickets from the transaction history and scan the barcode at the entrance. You can also print the tickets for your convenience.

What is the refund policy on Airlines Ticketing?

Since Khalti is just a ticket seller not a provider, the refund policy of Airlines Ticketing depends on Airlines.

Flight Ticket Booking Terms and Conditions:

  • Khalti is just a ticket seller. The travel service is not operated by Khalti.
  • Khalti will be responsible for issuing a valid ticket and to provide refund and support in cases of cancellations.
  • In cases when the merchant’s transport is late or cancelled due to unavoidable reasons, Khalti will not be responsible for this. Any refunds or claims due to non- functioning or unavailability of these services needs to be settled directly with the travel operator.
  • Our advice to customers is to fill up their correct name, phone number, email ID and other details properly. This will be useful in cases while informing about the travel service being delayed or cancelled.
  • When an email or SMS is delayed or fails due to some technical problems or wrong Email ID or phone number provided by the user, the ticket will still be considered as booked.
  • Tickets will only be cancelled as per the cancellation policy mentioned in the ticket. The cancellation policy is determined by the service provider and not by Khalti. We have no role in determining the cancellation charges.
  • Cancellations will be done according to the actual fare of the tickets. However, in cases when the user uses any coupon code for ticket booking, the cancellations will be calculated according to the discounted value.

Movie Tickets

Will my movie tickets be refunded in any case of cancellation, if so then how?

Yes, Khalti will provide refunds for cancellations in the wallet itself.

Is there a charge / fee levied for booking movie tickets?

No, there is no any kind of extra charges other than the fee charged by the movie theatre.

How will I know if my booking has been confirmed?

Status Shows Pending/Processing- When will I receive confirmation?

Transaction might go in pending state when the confirmation is awaited from the Cinema. Transaction will automatically get cancelled if not confirmed in the next 30 minutes. Please wait for the confirmation (success or failure) before moving to book another ticket.

Can I change my ticket dates, seat number or show timing?

Sorry. Ticket dates, seat number, or show timing cannot be changed after booking is confirmed.

Can I swap / upgrade my ticket category?

Sorry, as per cinema policy, tickets once booked, cannot be replaced, cancelled or refunded.

In case a show has been cancelled, how can I get a refund?

If a movie is cancelled by the Cinema, we will communicate the same to you via SMS and email. Refund will be issued within 48 hours to your Khalti wallet.

Is it necessary to be a registered user for buying tickets?

Yes, you need to register on Khalti app or website khalti.com in order to purchase movie tickets.

Do I have to print the ticket?

It's not mandatory that you need to print the ticket. But if you don't have your phone or cannot scan the barcode due to any circumstances, we recommend you to print the tickets at the box office.

What should I do if I haven’t received booking confirmation?

You should get a confirmation notification or email within 15 minutes of the payment. If you didn't get the confirmation notification, please check your transaction history (where you can download the tickets)

How many tickets can I book in one transaction?

You can book any number of tickets. There is no limit.

Till when can I buy tickets online before the commencement of the show?

The cut-off time for booking may vary from cinema to cinema as it is governed by the cinema. Most cinemas close online booking 30 mins to 1 hour before the show start time.

How do I get the refund money on cancelling my tickets/orders?

If the payment was made via Khalti account and you’ve booked the refundable ticket then on cancellation the amount will be transferred to your Khalti account.

I do not have sufficient balance to book tickets. Can I hold tickets?

Yes you can hold tickets for 30 minutes without paying. You can later proceed to pay by going to ‘My Bookings’ icon on from the more option in the bottom navigation menu.
